Speaker: Jim Potts, Potts and Associates
Topic: Unemployment issues we are all currently facing due to COVID-19.
Recap: May 14, 2020, Jim Potts from Potts and Associates spoke to us on all the EDD issues that have come up due to Covid-19. Most of us have had to furlough our employees due to the government shut down. Because of the PPP loans we are now bringing back some of these employees and we need let EDD know. Keeping your records straight is going to help with your rate for next year. If you ask an employee to come back and they do not you must let EDD know because they will no longer be able to get unemployment benefits.
Give this presentation a listen if you’re interested in some great information.
